With the drop out alignment tool it is possible to control and correct the geometric position of the drop outs in relation to each other.
Preparation
- Remove the wheel from the frame or fork.
Use
- Tighten the two alignment tools onto the fork or frame.
- Note the different installation widths (front wheel: 100mm or rear wheel 130/135mm)
- To do this, move the spacer sleeves on the control gauge accordingly.
- The dropouts are in the correct position, if the front surfaces are parallel to each other.
- If there are differences on the front surface, you must adjust the dropouts accordingly.
